Hello, my name is Jeff Wachter and welcome to my photo gallery.
My interest in photography came when I completed a couple college courses in black & white, and colored photography many years ago. I remember the long hours I spent in the darkroom processing my own film like it was just yesterday. Even though the technology and processes have changed over the years the physical principles and techniques of photography remain the same.
I strive to capture those moments in athletics when the actions and emotions are captured at maximum effort. I also am an assistant track coach/team photographer at Shakopee High School, so the athletes on the team tend to be the subjects of my photography.
